48 Friars Drive | Life is Good—
In 2022, GFI acquired the last vacant parcel in Hudson’s 383-acre Sagamore Industrial Park. Just north of the Sagamore Bridge, between Route 3A and the Merrimack River, the 75-acre parcel is centered in the area’s largest concentration of employment. The industrial park was designated by the State and the Town as an economic revitalization zone, a program that encourages companies to move into unused and underutilized industrial parks in return for tax credits.
GFI permitted the site for a 523,320 square foot, Class A, 40′ Clear, cross dock warehouse facility. Before breaking ground, GFI partnered with Life is Good, a global lifestyle brand committed to spreading optimism. As partners and tenants, together we created a real estate solution that truly benefits both parties.
Having outgrown their previous location, Life is Good came to GFI looking for a modern, efficient space to expand their operations. Together, we designed and constructed their new headquarters: a 323,000 SF, state-of-the-art manufacturing, studio, offices and distribution facility.
The remaining space has been fully leased to Vital Records Control, a premier records and information management (RIM) solutions company looking to grow their footprint in the region.
